Glitter boots//AW14

I know these definitely won't be on everyone's list for this season but I think these are amazing. There is something about glitter that us girls just can't stay away from, maybe it's from all those glittery dress up shoes we used to have when we were toddlers?
Saint Laurent have some dazzling boots in their AW14 collection. The glitter boots all have the same shape and heel, some are ankle length and some are knee length. They've got a go go boot kind of style to them. Unfortunately, I definitely cannot afford a pair of these this season so I might resort to a bit of DIY and attempt to make some myself! I'll post a tutorial on how to make some, if I end up doing it!

Patchwork//AW14

I'm weirdly excited for the colder weather to come, probably because I get to wear coats again or maybe because I can wear all black without feeling like my body's about to overheat.. Or maybe I'm just excited for some of this seasons new trends? Here are some of my personal favourite trends for Autumn/Winter 2014
I fell in love with this trend after seeing the Topshop Unique show in February. They donn't have many patchwork pieces, they only have about four but those four pieces are  stunning. A sandy colour is used in all four but I especially love the two pieces with the splashes of colours, they really stand out from the whole AW14 collection for Topshop.
Junya Watanabe is a designer that I've recently come across. I've been looking at many of his past collections and I'm in absolute awe with his work. For AW14, his whole Ready-To-Wear collection uses patchwork. And it's all black except for one cream jumper that had black patchwork pieces on it. There is nothing for me not to love with this collection, there's patchwork, there's a hell of a lot of black, there's leather and biker jackets, it's a dream! Really loving the leather biker jacket with the crazy sleeves.

Addicted to Topshop Unique shoes

I'm loving Topshop Unique shoes at the moment! They are both from the AW13 collection, but they're still stunning. And what's best is that I got the two pairs for £20!!
When I had a mini trip to London three weeks ago, I popped into the Topshop on Oxford Street and found these hidden away in the sale. Last pair and my size (thank the heavens) Got these for £15, but they're so strange to walk in. I'm used to wearing a platform because I love a bit of height as I'm only 5'2. These boots are pretty steep but I guess I'm just gonna have to suck it up and get used to them! Don't usually wear brown either but I'll make an exception for these!
Now these shoes were a real find, bagged them for only £5 and I can actually walk in these ones! The heel on these is a little smaller than the boots' heel so my ankle doesn't feel like it's going to snap. They fit like a glove! Will definetly be wearing these a lot more when it starts getting cooler.

TRIANGL bikini

I've adored the Triangl bikinis since I first laid eyes on them and a few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to receive an email from them asking if I'd like a bikini or underwear set! The underwear is also gorgeous, by the way. I opted for a bikini and I even got to pick which I'd like. The lovely lady, Emma, that was emailing me was extremely helpful also.
The bikini is absolutely stunning! It's in the style Winnie and colour Poly Python. It is made from neoprene material which I found extremely flattering. It even comes with a bag to put your wet bikini in afterwards!
Triangl might be a little bit on the expensive side for some of you but the quality is worth the price!

Magic Shoes

So I'm going on holiday in in just over two weeks to Malia (Greek Islands) so recently I've been looking for things I'll need like sandals, bikinis, shorts, etc. And me being the expensive shoe freak I am, went straight onto solestruck. I rediscovered Miista shoes! About a year ago I was obsessed with the ALISON hologram brouges from them but didn't have enough money at the time to get them. Anyway, I found the AVA sandal heels and fell in love straight away. But there was a problem, they were about £100 +P&P, god wonders how much that would've cost with Solestruck being based in the USA. A few days later, Miista uploaded a post on Instagram saying "30% off everything Friday-Monday" so I thought that I may as well treat myself! They ended up being £80 with a small price for P&P. I got them four days ago and I'm still utterly obsessed with them! I thought they might give a bit of discomfort as the straps are made with some kind of plastic and I have very delicate feet but they are a dream to walk in. You could walk in them all day and your feet wouldn't hurt! I'm amazed by these shoes, if you're ever not too sure about purchasing some shoes from Miista, just do it. The extra money is so worth it.

A little bit about me..

Before I start blogging on here, I think it would be nice for you all to know a little bit about me first! My name is Amelia Tara. I study Design Crafts and would like to study Fashion Styling at university. I've always wanted to have a career in fashion, there's been no other options. I'm a very friendly and approachable person (don't be shy!)  I am also a freak for having things planned in advance! Couldn't be un-organised! I live in England now but have lived in America for most of my life, might come as a surprise but I definitely prefer living in England! I don't have an American accent by the way! Aside from fashion, I enjoy music. I spend my summers going to as many music festivals as possible. This summer, I'll be going to see The Libertines in Hyde Park and Leeds Festival (so far..)
I will be writing mostly about fashion trends, new items I've purchased and product reviews. So if you're interested in fashion and make up, I'm your blogger!
